Hello World! My name is Marcos, Creator of Redeem Self Esteem, and I am a father, student, and aspiring entrepreneur.

I have always had a strong sense of what I wanted to do in life, succeed, and do it significantly. At 19 I was in college, two semesters away from law school determined to be a defense attorney, I was doing phenomenal too!

On my birthday I found out I was having the first of my three beautiful children, so swiftly different plans were made. I entered the job market for the first time and realized life isn’t as simple as they made it seem in high school.

Overwhelmed by the different fields of work I found myself in to keep my head above water, restaurants, hospitality, human services, warehousing, I mean you name it, I have done it, I rushed to google to look for anything I can do to change my lifestyle.

I was reading book after book and after picking up “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” I found a passion for real estate. A new purpose — how refreshing it was to feel like myself again.

I would work over overtime (yes I meant two) I am talking 115 hours a check, determined to build my credit. Things were looking fantastic, I mean my family was proud, my kids were enjoying the toys I was able to happily buy them…

And then COVID happened.

 I lost my job, my stability, and grew fearful. I realized at that moment being employed by anyone, no matter how lavish the money is, how great the benefits are, will never truly be secure. I needed to be MY employer.

So I searched for more inspiration, I found myself on youtube where I discovered Create and Go on youtube. Blogging, who would have thought I would be writing blogs, I thought only moms did that, but surely I was wrong.

After Alex and Lauren, the creators of Create and go, opened my eyes to what was possible, I casted my fear away, investing my last dollars on their courses, and most importantly, on myself. Today, here I am, President of the nonprofit organization Care4Creators, and online business owner. My goal is the same it has always been, succeed greatly.

At Redeem Self Esteem we are going to beat this thing called life together. Learn healthy habits like training positive mindsets, or developing success skills, like setting goals and commiting to them. For the people who just got out of school and stepped into this big world, or for those who have experienced the ups and downs of life. For everybody, there is a place for you here.
